I guess the planning of a wedding brings out the positives and negatives in every relationship that one has with the people who are invited and who are not. Your blog is a good reflection and I do agree with it, a wedding is meant to be the celebrating of a union between 2 people in love but it has become such a crazy circus now, with publicity and advertising making it all into a sentimental goulash. I hope that in the midst of all the preparations, you will find joy and perfection in the little things that no one else will see except you and your fiance and that you will not be thrown off kilter by any one or thing but just keep an even, calm pace to eventually reach the goal of what it was all supposed to be in the first place. :-)
