this post is deliberate, and yet not quite so. it has been in draft form for a few days now (created on 11/12@1225a); as such, it was quietly waiting for the right moment.
these lyrics were chosen in the spur of the moment, a song listened to many times. subsequent events have created new patterns of interpretation, and now these words shine with a new light, as the perfect reply.
call it coincidence. i call it by another name.
no matter where you are, you're always there when lights go out, never giving up on people even when they are about to give up on themselves. i hope they know this, and don't forget.
